Hungary
Hungary is a landlocked country in Central Europe, renowned for its rich historical heritage, thermal baths, and magnificent architecture. The capital Budapest, known as the "Pearl of the Danube," is composed of two parts—Buda and Pest—divided by the Danube River yet connected by beautiful bridges. Budapest is home to the world's second-largest parliament building, the Hungarian Parliament, whose Gothic Revival architecture is breathtaking. Hungary's thermal bath culture dates back centuries, with over 1,000 hot springs across the country. The Széchenyi Thermal Bath is the largest medicinal thermal bath complex in Europe. Hungarian wine production is equally renowned; Tokaji wine was once praised by King Louis XIV of France as "the wine of kings, the king of wines." Hungary's unique Magyar culture, with its traditional folk customs, music, and cuisine, attracts visitors from around the world. Hungarian cuisine is represented by goulash, blending Eastern and Western culinary traditions.
