Good for those who want a slow-paced experience of South Indian culture and enjoy combining nature with history. Not suitable for fast-paced city tourists or those sensitive to dirt. Best time to visit is November to February, when the weather is cool. Budget around 300-500 CNY per person. Traveling between areas takes time, so consider renting a car. Must-visit: Kappad Beach and Kozhikode Fort. Skip the Kozhikode Railway Station – crowded and not worth it. Avoid eating street food, as hygiene can be poor.
